Pine Needle Sculpture on a Gourd Base, 16" X 12" X 12" , completed 6/16. The movement in this piece is as a crescendo to my mornings that start out slow and build as I move through the day. It was Juried in for Arts in the Airport. 2017
"Jubilee"
Sweet Grass Sculpture on a Gourd Base with Copper Strips woven through the design. 12" X 11" X 13", completed 10/16.
This piece was named for the deep eggplant color that immerged from teal, topped with the glitz of copper, it screamed celebration to me. "Jubilee" was chosen Best in Show, Fountain City Art Guild Dec. 2016 and was in "Legacy Endures" exhibition in the upstairs Gallery of the Folk Art Center, Asheville, NC. 2017
